DES160 Final project

For this assignment I designed a fabric swatch that was inspired by the Hmong cultural motifs and traditional hand embroidery. It was a way to show my embroidery skill as well as show that some traditions will never fade. This swatch was hand dyed by me using fiber reactive dyes, stamping, discharge, and cross stitch embroidery. The fabrics used are 100% Cotton Twill for the swatch and the cross stitch embroidery strips was from regular 100% Cotton.
