Fashion: No Waste Skirt

For this assignment, I was asked to create a piece of garment that would have no waste. This means that all the scraps not needed to make this piece should be used in some fashion on the same garment.

This skirt was made from one yard of fabric and every scrape of the fabric was used in some fashion. The little flaps on the skirt on inserts between the seam made from the same fabric. The print on the skirt was a mamaki print of one of the University of California, Davis campus building stair way that has been photoshop.
